Abstract
ForewordGender equality is a global priority for UNESCO. Guided by the UNESCO strategy for gender equality in and through education (2019-2025), UNESCO focuses on transforming the entire education system so that all learners can fulfil their rights and potential through education and on specific interventions to support girls’ and women’s empowerment in and through education.
